The double room was spacious and had a lovely shower with nice free toiletries. It was equipped with an electric kettle and tv.
Check-in was a bit awkward. Having to stand in the dining room with heavy bags while answering breakfast questions wasn't ideal. The car park situation could be tricky if you're an early riser, as there's a chance you might get locked in. It would also have been helpful to have a longer shelf next to the sink for toiletries instead of just using the limited space available.

Recommend it to friends. Spotlessly clean hotel, tasty breakfast, the location is incredible close to centre of Penrith as well as pubs and restaurants and shops. The staff is amicable, as well as host. Overall brilliant food, plus there is The Lounge Property and Bar close by.

Check-in was a bit awkward, as we were left standing in the dining room with heavy bags while being bombarded with breakfast questions. It would have been appreciated to have a few moments to settle in. On the plus side, I enjoyed the delicious chocolate croissants during breakfast. The car parking situation could be a nuisance for early risers, as there is a risk of getting locked in. Minor issues like not being able to fill the kettle directly from the tap were noticeable but overall manageable.
